Grandpa invited the boy's over to carve Jack-O-Lanterns. The mess was incredible but their pumpkins turned into masterpieces! Happy Halloween to all.

Meet The Hyde Children
These little kids are my favorite kids to see in the branch. I love to go over to their house because the kids always have us play a game of kick ball or tag. They love to talk with us, it's just because we are that cool.
from youngest to oldest is
Tyler (he is my BUD! he is extremly shy but he and I love to play. His mom wonders why he always runs to me) then there is Jake, Alissa and Zack.

We won't quit our day jobs...
It doesn't take much for Addie to make Kimber laugh. Jared and I, on the other hand have a hard time getting a laugh out of her. Earlier we tried making her laugh doing exactly what Addie was doing. I think the video speaks for itself. Like the subject says, we won't quit our day jobs.

Once a week Briana and I get together to square off in a game of Scrabble. Its always fun to get together and see who will beat who that week. We take turns going to each others houses and after our game always enjoy a yummy lunch. Since Briana only has two kids home during the day it makes it fun for Kennedy to have someone to play with, even if she tends to be a bully. Last week the kids were just too cute not to take some photos of and share. Here they are in all their glory.
Daddy's Baby-Sitting Adventures
The other day I had a meeting and asked Doug if he could keep an eye on Kennedy while I was gone. I told him I would only be gone about a 1/2 hour and to make sure to watch her. Being two she is mighty busy!
So, when I got home Kennedy came to greet me in the garage and as I pulled in all I could see were her arms, shirt and face covered in black marker.
When I asked Doug about it he told me he thought she was outside with him!!! Hmm... Instead, she pushed a chair up to the counter, got into the drawer and decided to write all over the side of the refrigerator as well as herself. Amazing that in just 1/2 hour she managed to do all this. Oh, note what her shirt says, how fitting for that day.

Happy Halloween
I found this picture among the pictures of Beth and thought that it was perfect, since Halloween is right around the corner and all.
Travis as the Boogy Man, Kobie as a fairy, and Heather as a hula dancer or tourist or something???
Beth
I have really been missing Bethany lately, so i decided to put this together. I found some old pictures and just had to share them.
Here are a few reasons that I love Beth so much (in no particular order).
A: She is the kindest person that I have ever met. When I was having an emergency C-Section with Addie she was very worried and prayed for me. I needed the prayers and I could feel them. Sometimes we will tease her about being such a nice person, but in all reality, we wish we were more like her.
2: She is my hair-doin' sis. I would call her for a cut and color and she would get me in ASAP. She would rarely except payment, instead she would just tell me to do something nice for her. (Can I just mention how hard it has been to actually have to pay someone to get my hair done since she has been gone in Dominica?)
D: She is always cooking something yummy and creative. I would show up at her house during my lunch break and she would throw together one of the tastiest sandwiches that I have ever had.
Now can you see why she grew up to do hair? She had it down!
Here we are together sporting our weed wacker hair as Heather and I call it. Mom doesn't appriciate that or think it's very funny.
Here she is with her boys enjoying her "Island Life."
I love ya, Beth!

Happy 33rd Anniversary Mom & Dad
Happy Anniversary Mom & Dad!! We couldn't have asked for better parents and examples to us children. Your marriage and relationship is something of awe to each of us. We admire your love and respect for each other. Who could have imagined that on that fall day in the Manti Temple that someday you would have raised 10 children!! Thank you for truly emulating what a marriage is and means.
Happy 29th Birthday Doug
Happy Birthday Doug!!! Doug is the third child of Russ and Diane Evans and was born on October 19, 1978 at Sherman Hospital located in Elgin Illinois. Doug has always been known for his integrity and his ability to be a peacemaker. Doug loves camping, hunting, fishing riding his quad and lets not forget his love of NASCAR. He is also an outstanding father, husband and business owner. Happy Birthday, we love you!!

President comes to visit and more...
Judd's adventures in drywall
SIGH...... well, to start the story 2 recent converts moved into the branch. We asked if they needed any help and they said YEAH ONLY IF YOU CAN DRYWALL!!! Well, I have done it in EVERY area I have been in, Cedar Ranch and in Gram Grams house. I thought this should be EASY.... NOT! We did good!! What you see there took a little more than an hour. We are ready to finish it but my problem is I ALWAYS forget to leave a little room so the drywall can fit so its WAY tight but they are VERY GRATEFUL for the help!

Addie Montana
When Hannah Montana comes on, the whole world stops for Addie. She loves the theme song! Here is a little video of her doing the moves. If you know the show at all, you know the moves she is imitating.
(Don't forget to pause the music at the bottom of the page.)

Betty Crocker Eat Your Heart Out
What's this world coming to?
I felt this was "blog worthy" since pornography is everywhere. On a recent Oprah episode they got a little carried away with their suggestions on how to improve your marriage. Utterly ridiculous! To read more visit LightedCandle.org.
Lighted Candle is a website doing all they can to fight pornography. They have created a petition concerning the Oprah episode. Here is what you will be adding your name to:

Punishment Post
Let this post be a lesson to my siblings. It is okay to smile and show your face when having your picture taken. Look what happens when you don't, your sister puts your face up for everyone to see!
Ch-ch-ch-changes
Some things never change
It's no secret. This family loves to wrestle. Jordan and Taylor went at it this afternoon. They were wrestling pretty hard and when it came time for dinner they said that they were so tired that they didn't feel like they could eat. The complaining didn't last long though... their mouths were too full to talk.
Triplets
Dad and the boys came to Taylor to go to Priesthood session with Jared on Saturday night. When they got home all of the kids (Jordan, Taylor, Annie and Brigham) decided to stay the night at our house. Since the boys didn't have anything thing but their Sunday clothes, they borrowed some from Jared. Everything from their shirts to their shoes. Here they are getting ready to go bugling. Sweet style, boys!
