I just wanted to let everyone know that I just posted some new pictures to our blog. I didn't feel like posting everything twice so I'm just sending out the heads up!

Our new look

We all have Jenna to thank for our new look. I made the header and asked her to design the page around that. Good job! I love it and I know the fam will too.

The Cut

So after Kobie showed me a photo of myself with short hair I decided to cut it. It was sad but I admit I like it short. I couldn't pose by myself so I made Kennedy be in the picture, see she is clapping because I cut it!!

Endurance

This afternoon I made Kimber endure yet another photo shoot. Poor girl. I am trying to get some new pictures for the frames in my hallway, promise! Speaking of endurance, I am posting a few more pictures. We're all family, right? This is what we're all about!

She didn't smile as much today, but check out the lashes on this girl.

Has our brother taken his pre-mission country music listening too far? Maybe once he gets home a hunting trip with some "real" music will shock him out of it!

Mom's Fall Schedule

Just in case anyone cares I am going to post my schedule for this up coming fall semester. I start school on Tuesday August 21st.

Tuesday: 12:00 P.M. to 4:45 P.M. This class will be held in Gilbert at Val Vista Lakes Elementary so I will have a lot of travel time to consider (especially coming home).

Thursday: 9:00 A.M. to 4:45 P.M. Class is held on the Williams Gateway Campus

Remember you can always leave me a voicemail on my cell phone which I will check periodically.

Caleb, Carson and Calvin started school the same day Ben did, July 30. This is the first year that Caleb and Carson are not in the same class. They are in 2nd Grade. This is Calvin's first year in school and he goes to all-day Kindergarten. My days are so much different now with only 2 kids at home. I hardly know what to do with myself, although yesterday I cleaned out the whole garage! And everyday Ashton and I play a game of "Go Fish". Devin just keeps busy doing everything.

Tropical Storm Dean

Even though all of the siblings have received an email from Mom about Tropical Storm Dean (possibly becoming Hurricane Dean) hitting Dominica, I am going to post a little bit of the email from the University we also received.

"The storm is currently projected by NHC to grow to hurricane strength by Friday morning & pass directly over Dominica on Saturday morning, although the effects of the system (wind & rain) could begin to reach Dominica as early as Friday."

Like Bethany said, she has stocked up on food and they have water, but don't forget to keep them in your prayers. Even if you aren't a part of our family and you are reading this- pray anyway!!!

Too Cute Not To Share

This afternoon we spent some time outside because it was so beautiful. Kimber has been so happy all day so I decided to take advantage of it. I snapped a few (well, I will share a few of the MANY) pictures.

Although she is actually grabbing the camera, it looks like she might be waving. Believe what you want, I'm going with she is waving.

Mother Theresa

Okay so one thing Kennedy learned from her cousin Addie is that as soon as she gets ANYTHING on her clothes off they come. So, I was in the office working and she was in watching Elmo and yelling "Mommy!" so I went in there and her shirt was stuck on her head. Of course it was only water on her shirt but Heaven forbid. In addition I made her pose because it made me laugh, what a good mom!

Missing In Action- Part 2

Just wanted to let everyone know that my theiving child did not stop with the butter. This time I caught her at her kitchen with the Mayonaise! Luckily I was faster than her this time.

I have also learned to keep the dryer door shut. Apparently it makes a great hiding spot!

Missing In Action

This afternoon I made some dclicious rolls for a Bishopric "get to know you" dinner. Just after I pulled them out of the oven I got all ready to butter them. The day before I had pulled out a new cube and put it on a plate on the counter. I could not find it anywhere! I looked on every counter and under the dish towel on the counter. Finally, as a last resort I decided to check out Addie's room. Lo and behold she had been playing Paula Deen. Here is what I found. The picture does not do it justice. I have a very slippery, oily mess to clean up.

Dad Times 3

It seems that Taylor and Jordan want to grow up to be just like Dad. Looks like they've taken it a little bit too far doesn't it? Mom just wants to know if this counts as three Alaska trips for dad.

I think that everyone of our brothers has taken a picture like this at some point in their lives. If I remember right, Flint also has one from Costa Rica. Boys...

Who is this person?

Cold? He's cold? Is this not the same boy that sleeps with the ceiling fan on full blast and as if that wasn't enough, he keeps another fan going at full speed aimed right at his face!?! Well, with that said, he IS wrapped up in a Grandma Blanket so everything will be okay.

We were made for each other

Here is Ben after the White Coat Ceremony. Briana and I both commented on how sharp he looked and how fitting it was for him. I am sure he will be a wonderful doctor. We are all so proud of you Ben.

Briana and I as well as Grandma and Grandpa Richardson were able to attend the event. Grandma and Grandpa had to leave shortly after and were unable to stay for photos. I told Briana I wasn't posing for any more photos with her, she makes me look bad.

White Coat Ceremony

Today was Ben's official White Coat Ceremony for S.T. Still University. Ben is one of 107 students who took part in the Ceremony and pledged to not only dedicate their lives to learning but to serving as well. It was a great ceremony.
